    Michelle van Vuuren is considered one of the most high-value players in the international property market. Her unprecedented contact list and the depth of expertise means she is one of the most sort-after contributors &  advisors.

    Recognising that the political shift in the UK would offer significant opportunities to the international markets, Michelle established MVV Global in June 2016, to offer high-value real estate consulting and brokerage services to global investment clients.

    She started her career as a Management Consultant where she led ground-breaking research into the impact of wireless technology on the built environment. Subsequently, Michelle has held senior directorship roles in HOK, Woods Bagot, Manhattan Loft Corporation, Xchanging, Land Securities, Dalian Wanda, YOO, Sellar Property Group and recognised globally for her hugely-influential role as Managing Director of Sotheby’s International Realty.

    Michelle has contributed to the development of over 50 legacy buildings around the world, including The Shard, The Walkie Talkie, and redevelopment of Victoria in London, the first branded residence in Hong Kong, the first branded residence in the Philippines, 5 residential developments in India, 7 in the USA, 10 hotels in Brazil and the Nakheel Tower in Dubai.

    Born in South Africa, she has lived in New York, Hong Kong and now resides in London. 

    Michelle is a recognised television personality, regularly commenting on the property market. She regularly contributes to CNN, Channel 4 documentaries and the other major media outlets. She is regularly quoted in the printed press and was recently cited as the “world’s most important woman in property”. She speaks regularly at conferences, candidly discussing the important topics of the sector.

    As an outspoken advocate for gender equality and women’s rights, Michelle is a Director and Board Member of Roundtable Global and sits on the EN Committee with the First Lady of Japan – charitable organisations with large-scale political influence, for gender empowerment, sustainable environments and educational reform.
